MY LIFE UNFILTERED Lessons in Courage, Persistence, and Authenticity by Christina Byrne
What if your biggest battles—infertility, chronic illness, motherhood, and imposter syndrome—were also your greatest teachers?
In My Life Unfiltered, Christina Byrne shares her unapologetically honest, hilariously heartfelt, and deeply human journey through the curveballs life has thrown her. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and infertility in her twenties, she chronicles what it means to build a life anyway—fueled by purpose, grit, and an epic sense of humor. From navigating medical systems to motherhood wins (and fails), career curveballs to middle-school meltdowns, Christina opens the door to her story so others can feel less alone in theirs.
Told with unflinching honesty and unfiltered grace, this memoir offers not just a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep going—but an invitation to live fully, love deeply, and laugh through the mess.
This is not a story of perfection.
It’s a story of persistence.
And it might just be the reminder you need that your story matters too.

AUTHORS NOTE
Warning: This website nor my book is a legal document—it’s my life, told as honestly as memory (and a touch of humor) allows. Some names and details have been changed to protect privacy (and, let’s be honest, to avoid awkward Thanksgiving dinners). Timelines are blended, and certain moments are condensed for storytelling flow.
I’m not a doctor, lawyer, or therapist. I’m a wife, mom, and woman who has wrestled with multiple sclerosis, infertility, and more plot twists than a soap opera. The experiences I share are my own. Please don’t take them as medical advice—talk to your own professionals for that.
This book is about resilience, reflection, and finding light in messy, imperfect places. If you’re here looking for perfection, you might want to switch genres. Of course, imposter syndrome tries to sneak in (especially when I catch a typo and remember this wasn’t professionally edited). But that’s part of what makes it authentic. Life isn’t polished, and neither am I.
This audiobook will be full of laughs, a few flubs, a couple repeated stories (MS brain) and plenty of heart. And that’s exactly the story I want to tell. And just a heads up: if you spot a typo or grammar slip on this website or in my manuscript, consider it an Easter egg. Collect enough of them, and maybe you’ll win… absolutely nothing except the satisfaction of knowing you’re a better proofreader than me.
